Reopening October 1
We’re pleased to confirm that the Bathurst Aquatic Centre will reopen on Thursday, October 1, with regular activities resuming.
The extended annual maintenance closure allowed several important maintenance and repair projects to be completed throughout the facility, including:
• Repairs to the facility’s air-handling system, which helps regulate humidity
• Replacement and repair of tiles in the pool basin and change rooms
• Installation of new pool filtration media
• Structural repairs to the waterslide
• Deep cleaning of the pool basin and deck
• Repairs to the hot tub
• Repairs to drainage in the family change room
We thank everyone for their patience and understanding while this work was completed and look forward to welcoming swimmers back to the Aquatic Centre.
